Bikes & Coffee 2026: the season started on the church square

The church square in Bad Elster with the manufacturers' tents, test bikes and beer benches

On 28 March 2026 the church square was packed: Bikes & Coffee, our bike show in the middle of Bad Elster. Free entry, from ten in the morning, and bikes to look at, handle and ride all day long.

What was going on

The manufacturers came with their current models and stood at the tents themselves — so you could simply ask, instead of working your way through a catalogue. Test bikes were ready and no booking was needed for a spin.

Alongside that ran the programme: riding technique training with the road safety association, a skills course and bike coding. The fire brigades of Bad Elster and Adorf came with their turntable ladder — for the children the secret highlight of the day.

Food came from Waldimbiss Bad Elster with burgers and street food. And anyone who arrived by bike got a free barista coffee. That is how a season should start.

One more thing

On the day we raffled three starting places for the Pöhl Triathlon — which took place in August, and where we were there as a service station ourselves.

The photos

We have collected 67 impressions of the day on their own page: the Bikes & Coffee 2026 review.

Thank you to all visitors, manufacturers and partners. Bikes & Coffee returns in 2027.
