New: suspension setup out on the trail — with Quarq ShockWiz
You cannot set up a suspension while standing still. How your fork and shock really behave only shows under load — on the trail, with you on the bike, at your pace. That is exactly where we measure now.
With the Quarq ShockWiz we have a digital measuring device in the shop that records while you ride. It sits directly on the air spring and logs the pressure curve hundreds of times per second. What comes out are not estimates but data: on air pressure, progression, compression and rebound.
How an appointment works
We set aside around three hours, and we spend them out on the trail. First the device goes onto your bike, then you ride — on terrain that matches what you normally ride. After every run we read out the measurement, change one setting, and you ride the same section again.
That way we work our way towards a setup that fits you: your weight, your riding style and what you actually ride. In the end you do not just know how your suspension is set — you have felt the difference yourself, on the same piece of trail.
What you get
A suspension that stays calmer, builds more grip and gives you confidence on the descent instead of surprising you. Plus numbers you keep — if you change something on the bike later, you know where you started from.
Who this is for
For everyone riding full suspension off-road: all-mountain, enduro, downhill. The requirement is an air-sprung suspension — the device measures via air pressure. It does not work with coil springs; talk to us and we will find another way.
Price and combinations
The suspension setup starts at €199. It combines well with a suspension service including bushing calibration and an ergonomic fitting — if the suspension is on the bench anyway, the extra effort is much smaller. We agree those prices with you beforehand.
We arrange appointments individually, because this needs time and suitable weather. Write or call us and we will find a day.
